Job Summary

Responsible for installing and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in buildings and production equipment.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, unless business needs require additional hours worked;

Ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours if needed, which includes overtime and on-call  

This position works in production areas; Exposures include moving parts, high noise levels, vibrations, varying atmospheric conditions, hot and cold temperatures, chemicals, high pressure steam and dust, and outdoor weather conditions

Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.

Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders, stairs or scaffolding. Walking extended distances

Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Ability to enter confined spaces as necessary

Travel is not expected for this position

This position does not supervise the work of others

Must be able to wear full-face respirator and protective equipment for testing. This includes minimal facial hair in order to ensure proper fit in of respirator in accordance with OSHA regulations. Must complete annual medical monitoring program, including pulmonary function testing.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technologies or a related field
