Obria provides pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, prenatal health education, gynecological care, STD testing and treatment, preventive health screenings, and pregnancy and parenting classes. The clinic is staffed with nurse practitioners with training in women's health and midwifery along with registered nurses and support staff. 


Position Summary

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Community Relations Manager located in Fort Dodge, IA. The Community Relations Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining key relationships with donors, churches, and community partners in Fort Dodge to support the mission and sustainability of Obria Medical Clinics of Iowa (OMCI). This role focuses on high-impact relationship building, donor stewardship to grow financial support, and targeted fundraising initiatives. In addition, this role will identify and pursue strategic opportunities to increase awareness of Obria in Fort Dodge among potential clients, partners, and supporters.


The Community Relations Manager will fully support the mission, vision, Statement of

Faith, and goals of Obria Medical Clinics of Iowa.


Qualifications

  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.
  • College degree in business, nonprofit management, communications, public relations,

marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with churches, faith-based organizations, or community groups preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences with warmth and

professionalism.

  • Good administrative and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative team player, with a Christian servant heart.
  • A willingness to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by word and example.


Core Responsibiliites

  • Cultivate, steward, and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, churches, businesses, foundations, and community partners in the Fort Dodge area.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives, appeals, and events.
  • Support donor communications.
  • Represent OMCI at community events, church gatherings, and partner meetings to clearly communicate available services and mission of Obria.
  • Identify opportunities to increase awareness of Obria’s clinical and educational services among individuals, families, churches, and community organizations.
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, churches, and social service agencies to connect potential clients with Obria’s services.
