The Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa is seeking candidates to fill three open Animal Enrichment Technician Positions as soon as possible. Open availability is ideal but we are willing to work with part-time, full-time, and on-call applicants as needed. We are also willing to work around (as much as possible) other life commitments such as school and other employment obligations. Our highest need right now is for weekday work. Hourly wage is $9-11 per hour DOE. Duties include but are not limited to: Daily cleaning and miscellaneous animal care; interacting with the public on an ongoing basis; socializing and exercising the animals; and whatever else is required to maintain a high level of safety for the animals and staff and a high quality of life standard for the animals.

Must Love animals

Cannot be afraid of any animals

Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes

Must be able to represent the organization in a professional and consistent manner.

Ongoing exposure to diseases and bite risks.
